DIY GREEN TEA + HONEY SPOT TREATMENT MASK (MY NIGHTTIME SKINCARE ROUTINE)

The long awaited Nighttime skincare routine is finally here! My routine has changed over the year and some of you on social media requested I share this with you so here you go! This is an almost everyday routine, because my routine on nights I do at-home facials are much different (if you would like me to share this also, let me know in the comments). But a special part of my nighttime skincare regimen is using this DIY Green tea + Honey face mask as a spot treatment as well as my INNISFREE green tea seed skincare products.

Green tea has major benefits, especially for your skin!

  • Helps to improve skin complexion
  • Anti-aging qualities
  • Reduces puffy eyes
  • Eliminates dark spots
  • Treats acne and pimples
  • Amazing natural skin exfoliator

When mixed with honey? More magic, more benefits!

  • Honey is naturally anti-bacterial and helps fight against acne and pimples
  • It is extremely moisturizing and will leave your skin smooth and soft
  • Gives your skin a natural glow
  • Great for evening out skin tone
  • Heals burns, wounds and skin discoloration

And I can attest to all the above, which is why I decided to share my routine today, I have been religiously following this routine and I’ve noticed a huge change in the appearance of my skin ever since!

1) CLEANSE

Quick story: I ran out of my charcoal cleanser one day and had to use my shower gel to wash my face until I had time to restock on my cleanser. I ended up using my shower gel for over a week and within that period I noticed my skin got better (NO CAP!), so I decided to just keep using it! It’s been almost 9 months now, I’m still using this shower gel to cleanse my face and my skin is doing amazing!

I use the PALMOLIVE Aromatherapy sensual shower gel which has essential oil and ginseng extract, WHICH is totally amazing for the skin!

2) MASK ON!

This is currently my favourite DIY mask! It makes my skin feel soooo good, and all you need are these two ingredients:

I use one bag of the green tea and a tablespoon of honey. I wet the gret tea with a few drops of warm water first just to moisten it a bit and then I mix it with the honey and apply all over my face.

Leave the mask on for 15-20mins, after which you gently exfoliate your skin wit the mask before rinsing with warm water!

Pat dry with a clean face towel!

3) TONE

After masking, I tone my skin using the INNISFREE GREEN TEA BALANCING SKIN by applying a few drops on my fingertips and massage gently!

4) SERUM

Next I go in with the INNISFREE GREEN TEA SEED SERUM   , by massaging a few drops onto my face and neck using my fingertips!

5) EYE CREAM

Using the INNISFREE GREEN TEA SEED EYE CREAM I massage a drop each underneath my eyes using my fingertips to blur out fine lines and make my eyes look brighter!

6) MOISTURIZE

Lastly, moisturizeeee! I use the INNISFREE GREEN TEA BALANCING LOTION by massaging a few drops all over my face and neck!

And that’s all for my nighttime skincare routine, if you thought this was a lot of steps lol wait till you read my at-home facial routine!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and it was helpful, let me know what you think in the comments and tell me if you’ll be trying out the DIY  green tea+honey face mask! See you in my next post, have a great week! xx

    P.S.
Maybe I will add link to your website on my website and you will add link to my website on your website? It will improve SEO of our websites, right? What do you think?
